6 Foods that are not as

healthy as you think

Did you know there are some food that are not as healthy as you think?

They may contain high calorie and sugar level that may effect your health.

We cannot avoid eating these foods, but we can reduce it in our daily meal

1. Bread
Bread is highly refined and often contains a lot of added sugar. It is high on the glycaemic index and can spike your blood sugar levels. Study shows 9267 people found that eating two slices of white bread linked to a 40% greater risk of weight gain and obesity.

2. Cookies
Cookies are packed with unhealthy ingredients like added sugar and refined floor. They may also contain artificial trans fats, which are harmful and linked to many diseases.

3. Juice
Fruit juice are highly processed and loaded with sugar. In fact, juices contain just as much sugar and calories as soda. Juice usually has no fibre and does not require chewing.

4. Cake
No matter how many recipes you may see for healthy cakes; cakes are not healthy. A slice of cake contains high amounts of calories, fat, sugars, and sodium that does not consider to be healthy.

5. Noodles
Noodles are processed food, which are low in fibre and protein. It contains Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), a common food additive used to enhance flavour in processed foods. MSG consumption leads to increased blood pressure, headaches, and nausea.

6. Milk tea
Tea has a lot of caffeine which can make your stomach bloating. Adding milk to it can cause bloating more as milk and caffeine promote gas formation. Drinking milk tea also bring a lot of side effects, such as nutrient deficiencies, provokes addiction and dehydration.
